Pool tables are all we do.
Pool Table Movers is a specialist team that grew out of years of working in pool, snooker and games-room installs. Somewhere along the way we realised the part most customers cared about — and most general removers got wrong — was the move itself.
So that's all we do. We dismantle, transport, rebuild and re-level pool tables. Slate beds, full-size snooker, American pool, English pub tables, dining converters — every crew is practiced in all of them. Cushions and rails get labelled. Slates travel flat. Cloth is treated like the precision surface it is.
We're insured for goods in transit and public liability, happy to share documents on request, and we treat your home with the same respect we treat the table. No scripted call centre — call, email or fill in a quote form and you'll hear from the same person who'll plan the job.
Our process
- Quote. You tell us the table, both addresses and the access. We confirm a clear price in writing — moves start from £195 for a 6–7ft English pool table.
- Protect. On the day the crew lays floor runners and protects doorframes and banisters along the route.
- Dismantle. Pockets, cushion rails, cloth, slates and frame are removed, labelled and wrapped. Slates are carried flat or on edge in padded carriers.
- Transport. Everything is strapped in a van set up for slate, so nothing shifts in transit.
- Rebuild and level. The frame is squared, slates set and shimmed, seams filled and the bed levelled with an engineer's level.
- Re-cover and check. Cloth is re-stretched or replaced, cushions and pockets refitted, and we roll balls across the bed with you before we leave.
Insurance
Goods in transit insurance covers your table while it is being dismantled, carried, loaded and transported.
Public liability insurance covers accidental damage to your property or injury to third parties while we are working in your home or venue.
